Texas Hill Country is the best. Luckenbach, population 13, is very famous for the Waylon Jennings song “Luckenbach Texas” and has scores of visitors. Also named for Albert Luckenbach is Albert, Texas, population 7 in 2015, home of a wonderful dance hall. Stayed at Zena’s (VRBO), an art filled apt on a hill with beautiful views outward and within. Great barbeque place in Blanco where I went to girl scout camp and rode horses. And alas some typical political ads on the road.
